Sustainability Program

Central Chronic Medicines Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) External Pick-up Point

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Citizen Solutions has partnered with the Department of Health through the Central Chronic Medicines Dispensing and Distribution (CCMDD) program. This initiative is designed to make chronic medication more accessible to patients, especially those in underserved communities.

Our external Pick-up Point facility, based in the Eastern Cape, currently supports over 10 villages, providing a convenient and reliable location for patients who are stable on their chronic medication to collect their medicines closer to home. The CCMDD program aims to decongest public healthcare facilities and enhance service delivery for patients with chronic conditions.
